Raynndom.

There's nothing like listening to good music. Always manages to mend my mood.

Some really uncool things I realized about myself. Yes, uncool :\
I am not an attention seeking person in general. In fact, I find myself shying away from the limelight every single time but in relationships, I'm one of those who need to be always told how much they're loved/liked or whatever. I need that. I really need that much of an assurance, constantly. Too much to ask for? But aren't most people like that or am I just the lonely bunny in this planet?

I was reading my older posts. I sound so jilted and like I need help.
Gah. No. I'm purrrfectly alright, thanks for asking.
Haha.

No one reads blogs anymore or what?
A year back, there were such awesome people around :'(
I miss awesome bloggers. Come back youuu.

  1. You are not alone if you shy away from the limelight..Quite a few of us like to be in the background...Attention makes me very uncomfortable..

I wud like to add something more to this comment..Posing for pictures makes me really uncomfy..I hate to pose for pics...I wud happily click others..

I am battling my own share of insecurities..I am trying hard to accept myself the way I am..I want to fall in love with myself..I want to approve of myself..I feel flawed, weird and quirky...I guess I'm veering off-topic...

  2. Everyone is battling their own share of insecurities. Everyone has a story to tell. Some show it and some don't :)

  3. Everyone does require a certain amount of attention in relationships, but the amount varies with different people.
I've come to believe that, in a relationship, one person's behaviour is a distorted reflection of the other person's demeanour. So, if your partner is very detached, you tend to be very attached, and require assurance - and vice versa.

  4. You're right. That's exactly how it goes I think.
How much ever true that is, it still sucks. Especially for the one who tends to get very attached. Or maybe I'm just being biased :|

  5. No, I agree, though I may be biased, too. But I guess you should remind yourself that it's just a personality trait. Yes, they are detached, but that does not mean that they don't care for you as much as you care for them.

that's actually awesome in itself. keeps you close to people you want to keep close, that is if they understand this part about you.

i used to be like that with a couple of people. now its different. good different. :)

  7. @Insignificant: 'Yes, they are detached, but that does not mean that they don't care for you as much as you care for them' - You're right but you tell me, how long can you keep reminding yourself that. Sometimes, don't you just feel like being a child and keeping everything else aside and just have them give you what you want. If I like to be told a few things, can't you *at times* just go out of your way and give me that? Is it that difficult?

@Raj: 'that is if they understand this part about you' - That's the glitch my boy, that's the glitch! ;)
