Rockstar.

"Jo bhi main, kehna chahoon
Barbaad karein, alfaz mere, alfaz mere"

WHAT.A.MOVIE.
There's so much I want to say but I'm just not able to put it out in words here.
So, I guess I'll just leave it at that.

Just when I thought I was starting to stop believing in love, this movie comes in and makes me weep and I wonder, if I'll ever experience those intense emotions ever. If I'll be that fortunate..

  6. Hi Ms Whuaat? !

    Thank you for the comments on my blog, I am actually very surprised that people are still reading it because I have not updated it in two months! I suck at blogging, these days I am never in the frame of mind to be able to enjoy my own solitude and peace and write... anyhow, enough of my woes, just wanted to say thank you :)

    Also - Rockstar? Really? I got REALLY annoyed by Nargis Khan because she cannot act! And the more I think about it, the more the movie annoyed me because it is evident from the dancing and the St Stephen's College education, that she is someone with her own mind and freedom and is able to think and do things for herself. Is it really so difficult to get a divorce? To create an epic love story, you need situations beyond your control and loneliness beyond your thoughts - this film had neither in terms of the storyline.

    The film was well-executed, but I would have loved it more if it wasn't Ranbir and Nargis, to be honest. Slightly disappointed, only because I had such high expectations from Imtiaz Ali after Jab We Met! Jab We Met made me think a lot more about love and whether I will ever have that, too.. more than Rockstar.

    I did appreciate the way the film handled extra-marital affairs, though. MUCH better than the MESS that was KANK! :P

  7. @Aliza: Watch watch! :D

    @Rushabhh: Cool! Thanks.

    @Sunrise: I agree. Nargis kind of ruined it but I'm sorry but Ranbir seemed perfect for that role. This has to be a milestone in his career. And this is not just a Ranbir fan saying this :P
    Yes, there were maybe a few glitches but on the whole I loved the movie so much, I didn't really mind those small things you just mentioned. On the other hand I think Jab We Met was very different from this one and also too hyped.
